SUMMARY:28th Annual  Culpeper Harvest Days Farm Tour
DESCRIPTION:Fun for all ages\, the tour will showcase both traditional and unique farms in the beautiful Blue Ridge foothills that make up Culpeper County. The event provides a wonderful educational experience and includes an array of hands-on activities and demonstrations. The 10 carefully selected farms and ag-related businesses on the tour reflect Culpeper’s unique agricultural industry and the millions of dollars in production\, wages and salaries generated by the agricultural industry in our county and state. \nThe tour\, a self-guided driving experience\, can be started at the Welcome Center located at Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises on Route 29\, or any of the participating farms. This year\, the Welcome Center will offer even more interactive fun! Enjoy free face painting\, antique tractors\, the Piedmont Railroaders model train display\, and the popular Culpeper Farm Corner featuring local products from additional farms. Culpeper Farm Bureau and FFA students from both middle schools will be on-site\, while Eastern View High School FFA students will host interactive children’s activities on Saturday and Culpeper County High School FFA students will lead a special activity on Sunday. \nAs in years past\, many of the sites will offer lunch or snacks for purchase along with plants\, herbs\, and gift shop items! There is something to delight everyone. Some farm activities have designated times. Please check the site activities sections of each farm page to ensure you don’t miss the fun. \nBe sure to pick up a passport at the start of your tour which can be stamped at each farm\, and enter for a chance to win a gift card to one of the participating farms. One lucky guest will receive a grand prize basket featuring Culpeper farm products from farms throughout the county. \nComplete your tour with a stop at one of Culpeper’s 8 wineries\, breweries\, and distilleries\, featured on our Sips of Culpeper beverage exploration trail. \nPlease note: Some farms are located on long driveways or private roads.
