The Town of Culpeper’s 4th of July Celebration is Culpeper at its very best. Residents and visitors alike, young and old, new and lifelong, come together each year to celebrate America’s birthday in a truly memorable way.
This beloved community tradition is filled with classic, family friendly fun. Festivities kick off with the Culpeper Freedom 5K, held in partnership with Culpeper Baptist Church and the Museum of Culpeper History. From there, the celebration continues throughout the day with the American Dream Car, Truck, and Bike Show along East Davis Street, engaging exhibits at the Museum of Culpeper History, and a Patriotic Presentation on the Courthouse Lawn.
Heritage Park will be full of activity, featuring a food truck rodeo, craft vendors, games, and entertainment for all ages. Enjoy live music from Bobby G & The Heavies, along with moon bounces and a rock climbing wall.
The day concludes with a spectacular fireworks display at Rockwater Park, lighting up the night sky in honor of Independence Day.
