I Am Culpeper

Be part of the first I Am Culpeper session on May 5th as we celebrate Arts and Culture Month. This high-energy experience is designed to deepen your understanding of Culpeper’s unique character and the role arts and culture play in shaping our community.

Each session begins with a classroom-style workshop focused on tourism, economic development, and their impact on Culpeper, offering valuable insight into how our local assets support economic vitality and community identity.

Following the workshop, participants will take part in a guided walking tour through historic downtown, exploring Culpeper’s vibrant murals and discovering the stories and inspiration behind the artwork.

Whether you’re welcoming visitors, engaging with residents, or sharing what makes Culpeper special, you’ll leave informed, inspired, and ready to confidently represent our community.

The program includes:

• A classroom-style workshop on tourism, economic development, and their impact on Culpeper
• A guided walking tour of downtown murals highlighting local art and storytelling

Upon completion of the full training, participants will receive:

• A certificate of completion
• An I Am Culpeper lapel pin

Participants must attend the entire class to graduate as an I Am Culpeper Ambassador. Each class is limited to two participants per organization.
